In-line water purifier (L 6" D 2") has 1/4" tube fittings welded in both ends (less chance for leaks). Simply push tube all the way in. To release hold down white colar around tube and pull out the tube. Rated for 6, 000 gallons.

Insert incoming line to input side of filter. Turn water on and flush for a few gallons into a bucket (may come out black at first due to loose carbon fine). After it runs clear, turn off water and connect the output side of the filter to the 1/4" tube. Tuen water on and check for leaks.
